Who we are
Brankica Harvey
Partner
Brankica is a seasoned design visionary with over two decades of experience, notably as an Associate Partner at New York's prestigious Pentagram. Her expertise spans brand systems, print, packaging, digital, and environmental signage. Her creative excellence extends across renowned brands and institutions, such as lululemon, Samsung, Abrams, Menil Foundation, Studio Museum in Harlem and Sidewalk Labs, showcasing her ability to encapsulate brand ethos into compelling visual narratives. In 2023, she co-founded Associate, a testament to her commitment to innovative design. With a BFA from Parsons School of Design and a track record of accolades, Brankica also shares her insights as an educator at the School of Visual Arts, NYU, Pratt Institute, and Design West international summer school in Ireland.
Ken Deegan
Partner
Ken is a design leader known for shaping thoughtful, ambitious work across brand, space, and strategy. With over a decade at Pentagram New York as an Associate Partner, he shaped identities, environments, and experiences for brands like Nike, Samsung, Cooper Hewitt, Rizzoli, Calendly, Grace Farms, OPPO, and lululemon. His path has taken him through leading studios in Dublin, London, and New York — each shaping his distinctive approach to design. In 2023, he co-founded Associate — a studio built on the belief that design can shift perspectives and spark change. Ken holds a BA in Visual Communication from the National College of Art and Design in Dublin, and spent eight years on faculty at the School of Visual Arts, New York. He continues to mentor the next generation of creatives as a regular lecturer at Design West, an international summer school in Ireland. His work has been recognized by AIGA, the Type Directors Club, and D&AD, with honors across Asia, Europe, and the US — a testament to both its reach and resonance.
Pedro Mendes
Partner
Pedro is a multidisciplinary designer specializing in art direction, identity, spatial, and signage design. Beginning his design journey at the age of 15, Pedro honed his skills in eminent design studios before joining Pentagram New York, where he served as an Associate Partner for over a decade. During his tenure, he collaborated with high-profile clients such as Nike, lululemon, Google, Samsung, Spotify, Nubank, Grace Farms, Cooper Hewitt, and the Mellon Foundation, as well as acclaimed architects like Sanaa, ShOp Architects, Snøhetta, DS+R, Mass Architects, Grimshaw, and SHoP Architects. In 2023, he co-founded Associate, demonstrating his commitment to innovative design. He holds a BA in Visual Communication from ESEIG and is a respected educator at the School of Visual Arts. Pedro’s work has garnered numerous design awards from the Art Directors Club, Type Directors Club, D&AD, Communication Arts, and SEGD, with recognition across Asia, Europe, and the US.
